Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ basketball team dropped its fourth consecutive game on Monday (Feb. 5) at home, losing to state-ranked Normal Community, 54-23.
The top Bulldog scorers were Ellie Dallas and Adaline Eisenmann, with five points apiece. Hannah Creel, Reese Gallier and Kylie Waldinger all contributed three points. Addie Lagacy and Sidney Young both made two points.
Creel and Dallas were the only M-S players to sink three-point shots.
Normal Community, (27-3), ranked sixth in Class 4A, led 33-13 at halftime and 44-15 after three quarters.
M-S (11-18) will return to action on Thursday (Feb. 8) in its home-finale against Rantoul.
