Mahomet Freedom Four to support MSHS cross country programs

Local runners will have a chance to support the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ and girls’ cross country teams this week during the first Mahomet Freedom Four at 8 a.m. on July 4.

Registration for the four-mile race begins July 2 and 3 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at YoYo’s, 104 S. Lombard, Mahomet. Runners can also register from 7 to 7:45 a.m. at YoYo’s before the 8 a.m. start time.

There is a $20 registration fee.

The top 50 runners will receive a prize. All participants and volunteers will receive free yogurt at YoYo’s after the race.
