6th Annual Mahomet Soda Fest Bubbles Into Downtown June 13

Mahomet is gearing up to pop the top on summer as the 6th Annual Mahomet Soda Fest returns to downtown on June 13 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Downtown Mahomet is transformed into a bubbly destination with more than 100 sodas to sample and buy, from classic favorites to quirky, limited-edition flavors.

Admission to the festival area is free, with tasting opportunities on 100 sodas and treats will be available for purchase from local businesses and vendors lining Mahomet’s historic main street.

Last year, 68 different soda flavors received votes from tasters, with crowd-pleaser Pickle Soda bubbling up to take the top spot in the fan-favorite rankings.

Lexi Tieffel will perform on stage from noon to 1 p.m., followed by the band LoveSign from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. DJ Maggie Baker will spin tunes throughout the day.

A lineup of regional food trucks and dessert vendors will be parked throughout downtown, offering everything from savory barbecue to frozen treats. This year’s roster includes Patty Daddy’s, Olde Tyme Kettle Corn, Cundiff Meatworks, Mamma D’s Smokehouse, Juanito’s Tacos, Ice Daddy’s, The Main Scoop, and TCBY.

Families can expect bounce houses, games, and dedicated stations to keep younger visitors entertained between sips.
