FMP raises money for Lymphoma and Leukemia Society

The Mahomet-Seymour High School Freshmen Mentor Program (FMP) began its annual Pasta for Pennies fundraiser at the beginning of November. FMP classes will raise money until the end of November.

The fundraiser benefits the Lymphoma and Leukemia Society with the contribution going toward the fight against leukemia, lymphoma and myeloma and in our efforts to improve the lives of Illinois patients and their families. Through the program, students receive education on these blood cancers and raise money to donate directly to the LLS.

Last year the students donated $4,894.32 to LLS. This year, community members can help students raise money by making an online donation.

The FMP classes are listed below. Please find a teacher/class you’d like to contribute to, then click on the link (blue) to be taken to the donation site.
