Fisher Fair Marks 85th Anniversary and Village’s 150-Year Milestone with Weeklong Celebration

This year’s Fisher Community Fair & Horse Show in Fisher, Illinois marks the 85th year of the fair and the village’s 150th birthday.
Festivities begin July 5, with livestock shows at the fairgrounds and the Miss Fisher Fair Queen Pageant at Fisher Grade School Gym. The schedule continues through July 11.
A special Fisher Fair & Fisher Sesquicentennial Lighted Parade is set for Monday, July 6 at 7:30 p.m. in downtown Fisher. The parade will start from a quonset shed on the fairgrounds, travel through town, and feature illuminated floats, golf carts, bicycles, tractors, and other creative entries.
Grandstand entertainment includes a rodeo on July 8, ITPA truck-and-tractor pulls on July 9, a Friday night concert behind the grandstands on July 10, and a demolition derby on Saturday, July 11. Drone and multirotor racing are also scheduled during the week.
The Fisher Fair 5K Run/Walk will be held July 11 at 7:30 a.m., beginning on First Street, with awards presented afterward in Glades Hall. Additional family-oriented events, include a mutt show with morning registration in the commercial building.
Nightly gate admission for the 2026 fair is listed at $5, with child gate admission for ages 6–13 also available and children five and under admitted free. Adult season tickets for attendees 14 and older are offered at $25.
