Champaign County Forest Preserve
The Champaign County Forest Preserve operates six forest preserves throughout Champaign County, providing residents with over 4,000 acres of natural habitat, including trails, lakes and outdoor activities year-round. Venues like the Museum of the Grand Prairie and the Homer Lake Interpretative Center also provide opportunities of all ages to learn more about the local heritage and experience fun family-gatherings.
