Mahomet-Seymour won four of five matches in the two-day Edwardsville Volleyball Tournament and captured fifth place.
The Bulldogs dropped their opener against Breese (21-25, 32-30, 15-10) and then rebounded to defeat Edwardsville (25-19, 25-23), Decatur Eisenhower (25-10, 25-15), Pleasant Plains (25-17, 25-23) and O’Fallon (25-19, 28-26).
M-S was represented on the all-tournament team by senior Avery Allen.
M-S (7-1) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 5) at Mattoon in its Apollo Conference opener.
