In sweeping a dual meet from visiting Watseka, 9-0, on Tuesday (Sept. 19), Mahomet-Seymour won every match in straight sets.
The singles winners were Savannah Amatyleon (6-4, 7-6 (5) at No. 1), Adella Bird (6-1, 6-0 at No. 2), Holland Martin (6-1, 6-1 at No. 3), Emily Young (6-2, 6-0 at No. 4), Claire Johnson (6-4, 6-0 at No. 5) and Emmie Flores (6-4, 6-0 at No. 6).
In doubles, Amatyleon and Young were triumphant at No. 1 (6-4, 6-3), Martin and Bird prevailed at No. 2 (6-0, 6-2) and Ashley Shoaf and Lindsay Gowler won at No. 3 (6-4, 6-0).
M-S (5-1) returns to action on Saturday (Sept 23) at Lincoln.
