Mahomet Family Dentistry Athlete of the Week: Kalista Granadino

Mahomet-Seymour’s wrestling team has enjoyed the success of several female athletes over the years. As a freshman, Kalista Granadino is beginning to build a foundation that may prove exciting in the upcoming years.

At 5’6”, Granadino has competed in several weight groups, finding pins. At the beginning of the 2022-23 season, she pinned her opponent in the 120-lb weight class in 4 minutes and 37 seconds. 

Granadino placed seventh with a pin in the 114-lb category at The Clash National Invitational. She also took third place in the 110-lb weight class at the Crimson Ladies Holiday Invitational, pinning 2 out of 3 of her opponents.
