Winters posts to Bulldog score at Apollo Conference Tournament

The Bulldogs took fifth place and wound up with one top-10 performer on Monday (Sept. 28) at the Apollo Conference Girls’ Golf Tournament at Lake of the Woods.
Sophomore Ainsley Winters carded a 98 and placed 10th. Winters has posted the top M-S score in five meets in a row.
Sophomore Maddy Clark was 15th with a 103.
The team’s other competitors were Kayla McKinney (tied for 26th with a 111), Gaby Davis (tied for 26th with a 111), Emma Dallas (37th with a 122) and Reghan Shelmadine (44th with a 141).
Team honors were captured by Charleston (367). Runner-up Effingham had a composite of (376). M-S placed fifth in the eight-school event with a score of 423.
M-S returns to action on Thursday (Oct. 1) at Lake of the Woods against Tuscola.
