Thanks to season-low scores from both medalist Ainsley Winters and Maddy Clark, the unbeaten Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf team edged Mattoon, 196-199, on Tuesday (Sept. 14) at Lake of the Woods.

Winters fired a 39 and Clark – who tied for third individually – finished with a 48.

Other M-S competitors were: Emma Dallas (54), Kayla McKinney (55), Gaby Davis (56) and Sydney Carleton (62).

The Bulldogs (7-0) return to action on Thursday (Sept. 16) in the Livingston County Invitational.
