Willard Airport Offers TSA PreCheck® Enrollment Event in March 2024
Willard Airport is gearing up to host an exciting opportunity for travelers: a TSA PreCheck® enrollment event, presented by IDEMIA. This special event is scheduled from Monday, March 4 through Friday, March 8, 2024, offering passengers a chance to enroll early in the highly acclaimed TSA PreCheck® Pop-Up screening program.
The enrollment sessions will take place in the airport’s 2nd floor conference room, situated within the Willard Airport terminal. Operating hours for the event are set from 9 AM to 12 PM and 1 PM to 5 PM CT, providing ample time for travelers to participate.
TSA PreCheck® is a renowned expedited screening program that caters to pre-identified low-risk air travelers, allowing them to experience a more streamlined and efficient screening process at airports. This program is especially beneficial for frequent flyers, offering a hassle-free travel experience.
Appointments for the event are currently open for scheduling. To enroll, applicants are required to complete the initial steps of the application process online, including selecting the Savoy, IL Pop-Up event at Willard Airport and choosing a convenient appointment time. While walk-ins are permitted, it’s important to note that scheduled appointments will take precedence. Specific time slots have been allocated for walk-in registrations, and it’s advised that walk-in participants enroll online beforehand.
Key information for attendees includes the necessity to bring proof of U.S. citizenship or permanent residency, and the payment of a $78 application fee during the appointment. Acceptable payment methods include credit cards, money orders, company checks, or certified/cashier’s checks. Applicants will also undergo fingerprinting and photographing as part of the process.
The venue for the appointments is the Willard Airport Conference Room, located on the 2nd floor of the terminal, easily accessible next to the elevator. Free parking is available in the public parking lot for the first two hours.
Successful enrollment in the TSA PreCheck® program grants travelers a 5-year membership, which includes benefits like dedicated screening lanes at over 200 U.S. airports, the convenience of not having to remove shoes, laptops, or light jackets during security checks, and expedited screening times, with most passengers waiting less than five minutes.
Additionally, families with children 17 years and under can benefit from the program when traveling with enrolled parents or guardians.
