Waldinger leads M-S against Bloomington Central Catholic

Kylie Waldinger fired in a career-high 26 points on Tuesday (Nov. 28), but Mahomet-Seymour’s girls’ basketball team was unable to pull out a win at Bloomington Central Catholic, dropping a 78-71 decision.

The teams were tied, 57-57, entering the final quarter, but BCC made 14 of 16 free throws down the stretch (and 30 of 36 for the game) to secure the win.

Waldinger made three three-point shots and was 7-for-8 from the free throw line.

Reese Gallier and Sidney Young both totaled 10 points. Adaline Eisenmann made eight points. Ellie Dallas and Selah Campion each added five points. Grace Binkley netted four points and Hannah Creel contributed three points.

The teams were also tied, 18-18, after one quarter.

M-S (3-4) returns to action on Friday (Dec. 2) at home in its Apollo Conference opener against Mount Zion.
