Vermilion County Conservation District to host “Thanksgiving at the Cabin”

Forest Glen Preserve will host the annual “Thanksgiving at the Cabin” on Sunday, November 7, from 1 TO 4 P.M. CST. 

Visitors are invited to come to the Pioneer Homestead Cabin to learn and watch how foods were prepared long ago using fire and ironware.  You will see locally grown and harvested ingredients used and we will share recipes to be used on the campfire or in your modern kitchen. 

Properly worn facemasks are required for all visitors 2 years and up.
