Troyer and Burns Triumph at Lake of the Woods Season-Opener Golf Tournament

Jason Troyer and Lyle Burns teamed up to win the 36-hole Lake of the Woods golf season-opener on Sunday (April 28).
Troyer and Burns combined for a two-day score of 166.
On Saturday, all of the 60 two-person entries played front nine better ball and back nine alternate shot.
On Sunday, the format was set as front nine scramble and back nine total combined score.
Placing second in the championship flight were Josh Henschel and Dusty Schwab (174). Third place went to Brad Slocum and Zach Oyer (177).
In the first flight, Grant Kinkelaar and Ryan Coleman joined forces for an eight-shot victory. Their score was 179.
In second place was Nick O’Dea and Tucker Bayler (187). In third place was Duff Hoel and Dillon Hoel (191).
In the second flight, the duo of Jacob Brown and Jeff Milligan was first (192), followed by Patrick Blacker and Rob Caldwell (194). There was a tie for third between Daniel Goebel and John Yakle (201) along with Ben Amerio and Gabe Armstrong (201).
In the third flight, Chadd Snyder and Matt Wallace captured a two-shot victory with a 209. In second was Rex Krumwiede and Tyler Isaksen (211). They were followed by Kyle Loyd and Brian O’Sullivan (215).
In the fourth flight, Chuck Miezio and Buddy Ruggles were the winners (224). Next was Mark Wavering and Mark Oliveira (226). In third was Zach Paragi and Dylan Grammer (227).
