The 3Disciplines triathlon will take place in Mahomet on September 23.
Registration for the event will begin at 6:30 a.m. with kickoff scheduled at 8:30 a.m.
The prospective timeline for the event estimates the first athlete to get on a bike and leave the park around 8:55 AM. The timeline also predicts the last bike off the course by approximately 10:45 AM.
During those hours, no traffic will be allowed to travel on Lake of the Woods Road from Summit Ridge to Tin Cup or on Tin Cup between Lake of the Woods Road.
Motorists will be allowed to cross Tin Cup, on Prairieview, when no bikes are on that part of the course and an officer directing traffic determines it is safe to do so.
