Three golfers hit hole-in-one at Lake of the Woods Golf Course

The Lake of the Woods has been the site of three hole-in-ones in a four-day span.
On Wednesday (Sept. 2) it was Susan Bates’ turn.
She aced the eighth hole (104 yards), using an 8-iron.
Witnessing her feat were Dana Busch, Cheryl Easter and Carmileta Clark.
On Monday (Aug. 31), Kevin Kuppler, from Monticello, needed just one shot on the eighth hole (129 yards). He used a 7-iron.
Witnessing his feat were Norm Knicl, Ben Crane and Jim Hamilton.
The series of hole-in-ones started on Sunday (Aug. 30) when Andy Hoggatt, from Champaign, aced the 196-yard 17th hole. He used a 3-wood.
His shot was witnessed by Adam Hoggatt, Bryan Snyder and Lou Rhodes.
