School’s Out! Old Timey Halloween at Museum of the Grand Prairie

Students in Mahomet-Seymour Schools will not have school on October 25.

But that doesn’t mean they can’t learn a thing or two while having fun.

The Museum of the Grand Prairie will host their annual School’s Out: Old Timey Halloween event from 1 to 3 pm.

Children are encouraged to dress up as they learn about how the Halloween tradition started while emersing themselves in old-fashioned Halloween games, crafts and traditions.

Old Timey Halloween is free and open to children of all ages.
