The Sangamon River Music Festival Committee has secured Citizen Way as the Christian band to perform at the Sangamon River Music Festival this year.
Formerly knows as The Least of These, Citizen Way has been together since 2004 when the four group members, Ben and Josh Calhoun and Ben and David Blascoe, were at Judson University together.
Their debut single “Should’ve Been Me” debuted at No. 15 on K-LOVE’s Top Songs List in July 2012 before climbing to No. 8 on that chart.
Citizen Way’s debut album “Love Is the Evidence” was released in 2013, and hit No. 22 on Christian Charts.
Citizen Way will perform in the afternoon on Aug. 23.
