Rogers helps Bulldogs top Rantoul

Quenton Rogers made a season-high 20 points on Tuesday (Jan. 4), helping the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball team to a 50-36 non-conference victory at Rantoul.
Rogers also cleared five rebounds.
Blake Wolters contributed 13 points, seven rebounds and four steals. Ben Wagner chipped in with four points and five rebounds.
Wyatt Bohm and Dayten Eisenmann each handed out three assists.
The Bulldogs jumped into a 17-8 lead after one quarter.
M-S (8-7) returns to action on Friday (Jan 7) at home against Lincoln. On Saturday (Jan. 8), the Bulldogs will play a 2 p.m. game against Streator in the St. Joseph-Ogden Shootout. Admission to the seven-game shootout is $5.
