Rodebaugh, Folken help Bulldog volleyball pick up first at-home win

Junior Grace Rodebaugh reached double figures in kills on Thursday (Sept. 2) with 10, helping Mahomet-Seymour to a volleyball win in its home-opener.
The Bulldogs edged Lincoln, 27-25, 25-23, to start Apollo Conference play with a victory.
Caylee Folken handed out 18 assists.
M-S won the junior varsity match, 25-20, 25-17. M-S was also victorious in the freshmen match, 21-16, 16-21, 15-14.
On Saturday (Sept. 4), the Bulldogs won four out of five matches at the Centennial Invitational and finished in third place.
M-S had straight-set wins over Monticello (27-25, 25-18), Dunlap (25-15, 25-14), Pontiac (25-20, 25-9) and Champaign Central (25-12, 25-22) along with a 25-18, 25-23 loss to Morton.
For the tournament, Rodebaugh totaled 32 kills. Sophie Zerrouki landed 20 kills to go with 15 blocks.
Libby Bodine contributed 62 digs.
M-S (7-1) returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 7) at Mattoon.
