Reis Claybrooke Leads Mahomet-Seymour Boys’ Golf to Fourth-Place Tie at Danville Invitational

Reis Claybrooke (76) posted the top score for the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ golf team on Friday (Sept. 6), helping the Bulldogs to a tie for fourth place in the 20-school Danville Invitational at Turtle Run.

Meet champion Normal U-High (292) was followed by Benton (298), Mount Zion (309) and M-S and Mattoon (313 each).

Other Bulldog scorers were Kelton Hennesy (77), Cole Thrasher (78), Jackson Bohm (82), Jacob Schoudel (82) and Carter Henrikson (84).

M-S returns to action on Tuesday (Sept. 10) at Monticello in a meet that also includes Rantoul.
