Randolph Leads Mahomet-Seymour to Victory with Second Pitching Win, Team Dominates Clinton 13-2

Senior Finn Randolph picked up his second pitching victory of the season on Tuesday (March 19) as the Mahomet-Seymour baseball team won at Clinton, 13-2.
In four innings, Randolph walked no one and struck out eight hitters. He allowed one earned run. Raymond Long threw the final inning and notched strikeouts for two of the three outs.
The Bulldogs’ 15-hit offensive assault was paced by Noah Butler and Camden Heinold with three hits each. Randolph and Cade Starrick both collected two hits.
Winding up with one hit were Gavin Bailey, Nolan Johnson, Matthew Orr, Brian Woodbury and Miles Woolsey.
Heinold drove in three runs. Collecting two RBI apiece were Johnson, Orr and Starrick. Contributing one RBI were Bailey, Randolph and Woolsey.
Scoring the runs for M-S were Butler (two), Heinold (two), Orr (two), Bailey (one), Tyson Finch (one), Johnson (one), Randolph (one), Starrick (one), Ben Weddle (one) and Woodbury (one).
M-S (2-1) returns to action on Saturday (March 23) at Urbana.
