Peters and Anderson win Better Ball Tournament

Mike Peters and Josh Anderson teamed up to win the two-day Better Ball Tournament on Sunday (Oct. 9) at Lake of the Woods.
They combined for rounds of 65 and 67, for a 132.
Two other duos also carded 132s, but Peters and Anderson prevailed in a one-hole playoff.
Finishing tied for second in the championship flight were David Keenan and Kyle Scholes (63-69-132) and Dan Patkunas and Lyle Burns (70-62-132).
In the first flight, top honors were captured by Rusty Vaughn and Greg Roelfs (73-66-139). Placing second were C.G. Facer and Andy Facer (74-68-142). Tying for third place were Cam Heino and Matt Wettersten (73-70-143) and Dave Bonnett and Rick Finley (75-68-143).
In the second flight, Dave Huber and Rick Little were victorious (77-72-149), followed by Kevin Conner and Neil Sudduth (78-75-153), Brian Metzger and Jerry Connelly (76-78-154) and Bill Clodfelder and Bob Rynke (76-78-154).
In the third flight, the winners were Jerod Kile and Chad Yeadon (80-76-156), followed by Mike Browning and Chris Browning (80-77-157) and Ben Amerio and Ross Gawenda (80-79-159).
In the fourth flight, the titlists were Greg Christopher and Nick Dorr (85-74-159), followed by Joe Quinlan and Larry Henderson (88-79-167) and Dave Lucas and Joe Lucas (88-79-167).
In all, there were 40 two-man entries.
