Peoria Notre Dame defeats Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball

Reese Gallier scored nine points on Tuesday (Dec. 5) to lead the Mahomet-Seymour girls’ basketball team, which dropped a decision at home to Peoria Notre Dame, 69-27.
M-S trailed, 14-9, after one quarter before Notre Dame (9-1) used a 22-6 second-quarter spree to take an insurmountable lead.
Sidney Young chipped in with six points for the Bulldogs and Grace Binkley contributed four points. Kylie Waldinger netted three points. Finishing with two points apiece were Hannah Creel and Hannah Martin. Adeline Eisenmann added a free throw.
M-S (3-6) returns to action on Thursday (Dec. 7) at home against Charleston.
