The Community Evangelical Free Church of Mahomet raised over $6,000 for the Ha’Emek Medical Center in Afula, Israel Sunday night.
With over 175 people in attendance, Christian recording artists James Mark Maxey and Harold Greene led the night of worship with an acoustic set. Ha’Emek Medical Center Director of Development Larry Rich also made an appearance via satellite.
The Community Evangelical Free Church of Mahomet supports the Ha’Emek Medical Center by sending financial contributions. Pastor Jason Schifo also visits the hospital each year with Great News Radio General Manager Mark Burns.
In November the duo will go to Israel again to distribute teddy bears to the children’s wing of the hospital.
