Orr Homers, Bailey and Randolph Drive in Three Each as Mahomet-Seymour Downs Normal University High 13-8

Matthew Orr slammed a home run and teammates Gavin Bailey and Finn Randolph both drove in three runs on Monday (April 22) as the Mahomet-Seymour baseball team registered a 13-8 victory at Normal University High.
Randolph, Raymond Long and Nolan Johnson all contributed two hits to the Bulldog attack. Ending with one hit were Camden Heinold, Bailey, Tyson Finch, Orr and Noah Butler.
Long and Orr delivered two RBI apiece. Heinold knocked in one run.
Orr tallied three runs while Heinold, Randolph, Butler and Johnson each scored twice. Bailey, Long and Finch crossed home plate once apiece.
Mason Orton (4-0) captured the win. He pitched three innings, walked five and struck out three. Randolph recorded a save with his four-inning relief stint. He walked three and fanned five.
M-S (16-5) returns to action on Thursday (April 25) at home against Hoopeston Area.
