Nathan’s ALL-STAR Sports Experience to raise money for people without address

“Mom it hurts my heart to see people without a home” eight-year-old Nathan Stabler told his mom with a passion that was heartfelt. 

This was the beginning of a discussion creating this event. Nathan is leading the charge to raise money for Salt and Light. This complements his participation in the leadership program offered by Leaders for Life under Master’s Tina & Jeff Newberry.

Through this program, he has learned to demonstrate the value of community and serving others. This experience led Nathan to his passion to uplift and empower those who are in a time of struggle.

This lends to the reason Nathan picked Salt and Light. He really liked that they support people without homes, in addition they support people that struggle financially and offer programs to empower people to improve their lives. 

Nathan loved the empowering people to improve their situation ingredient – that is the reason he chose to partner with Salt and Light. He has enrolled the support of his church to support his mission.

Nathan created an event that he has named Nathan’s All Star Experience – a family-friendly, all skill levels sports event to help raise money for Salt and Light.  Win prizes, enjoy a snack from the concession stand or simply watch.

We will be selling tickets to participate or spectate. We will have a concession stand where all proceeds will be donated to Salt and Light.

Mark your calendar for Sunday, September 22nd from Noon to 2pm. The event will be hosted at Nathans church – Mahomet United Methodist Church. 

All proceeds and monetary donations will be presented to Salt and Light. The passion in this kiddo to make a difference will support this event. 

He has asked for help from his church family to make it a special event. He is excited to see you all there too making a difference in others’ lives.
