MSJHS Cross Country conquers mountain
The MSJH Cross Country team brought home a perfect score in both the boys and girls races at Clinton Thursday, taking at least the top five spots in the race.
While this was a smaller meet, with only three teams represented, the Bulldogs took the lead early and kept the pace to win the meet. The course at Little Galilee was challenging in that it had a very large hill during the last 1/2 mile of the race.
As noted by one runner, “Coach, it is more like a mountain.” To say that the results are impressive is an understatement because many of the runners still earned personal records and took on the challenge that was presented by the newly named “mountain.”
