The Bulldogs opened IHSA Regional play with a 6-0 victory over Rantoul.
Senior Kerry Lippold Jr. opened the scoring a few minutes into the game, assisted by Ethan Mansfield. Trevor Burgess was able to pick up two goals and an assist on the night. Bryan Retallick was able to find the goal as a corner kick was sent through the box and he was able to one-time the ball pass the keeper.
Later in the game, Zach Schnepper was able to pick up both an assist and a goal. Austin Carr finished up the scoring, assisted by Carter Osman. The win moves them to 16-4-3 for the year, tying the most wins in program history.
Next up for MS is the Regional Championship game on Saturday 11a start at Middletown Field.
