MSHS Dance places third and fifth in first competition, MSHS girls basketball places second in Invitational
The Mahomet-Seymour dance team finished in third place and fifth place at the Andrew High School IHSA Invitational Saturday.
The Mahomet-Seymour girls basketball team opened their season with a 3-1 record at the Prairie Central Turkey Tournament.
After defeating Morris 50-19 on the back on Amanda Franklin and Erin Lenschow who each contributed 14 points, Mahomet-Seymour fell 55-40 to Eureka.
Mahomet-Seymour led 26-24 at halftime, but Eureka outscored the Bulldogs 31-14 in the second half. Erin Lenschow was the top scorer for the Bulldogs, contributing 13 points and grabbing 8 rebounds.
