MSHS Boys basketball and wrestling pick up wins, Girls basketball falls in conference play
MSHS Boys Basketball
The Mahomet-Seymour boys basketball team defeated Taylorville 67-31 on the road Friday night.
Grant Coleman led all scorers with 20 points. He also grabbed 8 rebounds. Cory Noe added 12 points and 5 rebounds.
MSHS Girls Basketball
The Mahomet-Seymour girls basketball team faced a tough loss to Effingham Monday.
The Bulldogs outscored Effingham 28-25 in the first half, but only scored 15 points to Effingham’s 30 in the second half. The final score was 55-43.
Kaitlyn Northrup led the Bulldogs with 18 points, and Amanda Franklin scored 14 points and grabbed 5 rebounds.
