The Mahomet-Seymour High School Ag Department invites Mahomet residents of all ages to Ag Day on May 7th.
The annual event will run from 9 to 11 a.m. behind Mahomet-Seymour High School near the greenhouse and football field. The University of Illinois will bring Birds of Prey for visitors to learn about. There will also be a dunk tank, Mother’s Day Crafts, a fire truck, petting zoo and free popcorn and ice cream available.
The MSHS greenhouse and Ag Store will also be open during the event. The Ag Department special during the month of May is anyone who purchases $50 in feed will also get $50 in plants. All proceeds from the plant sale go to student scholarships and educational resources.
