The Mahomet Parks and Recreation Department will roll out the red carpet as they host a Daddy/Daughter Dance on February 18 at 6 p.m. at the Lake of the Pavilion.
Event Coordinator Denise Reynolds said, “We saw the need and decided a Daddy Daughter Dance was a perfect event for this community. Mahomet is a very family-friendly town and we want our events to reflect that.”
With an $18 per person registration fee, dads and their daughters will enjoy a Hollywood-themed night will with Elite Entertainment as the DJ, a photo booth, professional photography by VSI, and appetizers catered by Noodles and Company.
“These dances are memories that we have cherished in our lives and know that it will be the same for the girls and their dads,” Reynolds said. “We hope to promote the importance of strong, healthy relationships between fathers/daughters by hosting this event that allows quality time and memories.”
The registration deadline for this event is February 7. Registration forms can be dropped off at the Mahomet Parks and Recreation office located at 218 S. Lake of the Woods Rd. or at the Village Administration Building at 503 E. Main. Online registration is available at www.mahometrecreation.com.
