Mount Zion defeats Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball at home

Jackson Bohm scored 11 points and Landyn Hannah added 10 points on Friday (Jan. 26), but the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball team dropped a 73-46 decision at home to Mount Zion.
Lucas Dyer and Ryken Kirby each netted five points. Gavin Bailey scored four points, Henry Wagner hit three points and Finn Randolph finished with two points.
Hannah also had team-high totals of four rebounds and two assists.
Mount Zion forged a 20-12 lead after one quarter and expanded its cushion to 48-25 at halftime.
M-S (8-12) returns to action on Tuesday (Jan. 30) at home against Normal Community.
