Motorists heading toward Mahomet-Seymour High School as school dismisses should expect delays.
Nearly 300 students over the age of 12 and their family members signed up to receive the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Its distribution will overlap with the end of the school day between 1 and 4:30 p.m. With an influx of traffic heading to the school and students being dismissed, the Mahomet Police Department will direct traffic entering State Street from the High School parking lot west (away from the Junior High and Lincoln Trail).
Traffic in the area is expected to move slowly.
