Kicking off the season with festive cheer, this two-day event promises fun for all ages with sparkling decorations, delicious food, live entertainment, and cherished holiday traditions.
Friday, December 6: An Evening of Festivities
Starting at 5 p.m. along Main Street, families can enjoy a variety of activities and immerse themselves in the holiday ambiance. The evening’s highlights include:
- Holiday Music: The streets will be filled with festive tunes, including a live performance by the Mahomet-Seymour High School Madrigals, adding a touch of traditional charm.
- Food Trucks: Warm up with hot meals from Smith Burgers or indulge in sweet treats from Main Scoop.
- First-Ever Mahomet Christmas Parade: At 6 p.m., the inaugural parade will march through town, culminating in the arrival of Santa Claus, who will officially usher in the holiday season.
- Santa Meet & Greet: After the parade, children can meet Santa Claus, share their holiday wishes, and snap memorable photos.
Saturday, December 7: Donuts with Santa and Kids’ Shop
The holiday excitement continues Saturday morning with two beloved traditions:
