Downtown Mahomet will be lined with sweet soda for the second annual Mahomet Soda Fest on June 4.
The event that runs from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. will feature over 100 different sodas from all over the United States. Visitors can purchase tickets or wristbands will give access to tasting booths along Elm, Main and Lombard Streets. Kid’s bounce houses, obstacle courses, and games will also be available for kids for free.
Art Sitkowski from the University of Illinois football team will be available for free signatures from noon to 2 p.m. and Dain Dainja from the University of Illinois mens’ basketball team will sign autographs from 2 to 4 p.m.
The Hobnob String Band and The Bashful Youngens will perform during the festival, too.
