Downtown Mahomet is gearing up for a day of fizz and fun as the 6th annual Mahomet Soda Fest returns on Saturday, June 14, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Soda enthusiasts will have the chance to sample over 100 different sodas from family-owned bottlers across the United States. From nostalgic favorites to new, adventurous flavors, tasting booths will line Main Street, offering endless options for attendees to discover and enjoy. Once festival-goers find their favorites, they can purchase bottles to take home from the dedicated soda purchasing tent, conveniently located next to the fire station.
Tasting experiences range from a $10 tasting card for twelve samples, a $30 unlimited tastings wristband, and a $60 family pack that includes two wristbands and two tasting cards.
Live music performances are scheduled throughout the afternoon, featuring Lexi Tieffel (12 p.m.–1 p.m.), Hometown Band (1 p.m.–3 p.m.), and the Caleb Cook Band (3 p.m.–5 p.m.). For younger attendees, the Kids Area offers free activities such as an obstacle course, bounce houses, and games.
Glad a local is performing, it will be great for everyone to see her.
