Mahomet-Seymour’s Bass Fishing Team Nets 41st Place at IHSA State Tournament

Mahomet-Seymour’s bass fishing team of Brayden Rivest and Andrew Crawford placed 41st in the 65-team IHSA state tournament on Saturday (May 18) at Carlyle Lake.

After the first day of action (Friday, May 17), the M-S duo stood in 32nd place. Their two first-day catches weighed in at 3 pounds and 15 ounces.

In the final day of competition, they weighed in just one more fish for another 2 pounds and 2 ounces.

Their total fish weighed in were 6 pounds and 1 ounce. The state champion entry from Wheaton North weighed in fish totaling 22 pounds and 2 ounces.
