Senior Haylie Orton had four kills, senior Sophie Zerrouki had four blocks and senior Alayna Evans had four digs on Thursday (Sept. 30) as the Mahomet-Seymour volleyball team tripped Mattoon 25-9, 23-25, 25-16.
Orton added three digs and two blocks. Zerrouki contributed three kills and two digs. Evans served one ace.
M-S (16-5) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 5) at Mount Zion. The Bulldogs are 7-1 in Apollo Conference action.
The M-S junior varsity also needed three sets to secure a win, 18-25, 25-17, 15-13. The Bulldog freshmen topped Mattoon, 24-22, 21-16.
