Mahomet-Seymour Speech team competes at Coal City High School

The Mahomet-Seymour High School Speech Team traveled to Coal City High School to compete against eleven other schools, most from the Chicagoland area on Dec. 17.

Fourteen MSHS students participated in the competition, and several advanced to the Junior Varsity final round.

Students recognized include: Eden Sanborn (1st place JV Prose), Sabian Simpson (2nd place JV Radio), Madison Young (4th place JV Oratory), Alli McGregor and Olivia Blackman (5th place JV Humorous Duet), Alli McGregor (5th place JV Humorous Interpretation), and KJ Jackson (6th place Impromptu Speaking).  The team will return to competition on January 14th, traveling to Eureka High School.
