Mahomet-Seymour Softball Team Stifled in 5-1 Defeat at Centennial, Looks to Rebound Against Normal University High

Mahomet-Seymour’s softball team was held to three hits on Monday (April 8) and took a 5-1 loss at Centennial.

Madeleine Cortez, Brooklyn Dyer and Madelyn Logsdon accounted for the M-S hits. Cortez scored the team’s run.

Cortez and Dyer each stole a base.

Ava Henderson pitched four innings and recorded five strikeouts. Reliever Katherine Severns worked two innings and fanned two hitters.

M-S (3-8) returns to action on Thursday (April 11) at home against Normal University High.
