Candidates for the Mahomet-Seymour School Board will have an opportunity to share their ideas with constituents during two forums in the coming weeks.
The Mahomet Chamber of Commerce will host their forum on Feb. 25 from 6 to 8 p.m.. The event will be streamed on Facebook Live and YouTube. Links will be provided at a later time.
Questions for candidates can be submitted to office@mahometchamberofcommerce.com.
Those who do not have access to Facebook or YouTube can request to attend the event in person by emailing office@mahometchamberofcommerce.com with your name and reason for needing to attend. The Chamber will take up to 25 attendees based solely on need. Masks will be required during the entire forum and social distancing will take place.
The Mahomet Public Library will host a virtual forum via Zoom on Sunday, March 7 at 2pm. The question and answer session will be moderated by Director John Howard. Questions can be asked in the chat during the event or submitted via this secure form: https://forms.gle/2hzBvQURJYNMhDGcA.
