Mahomet-Seymour rallies to defeat Urbana

Jackson Bohm compiled a massive double-double on Tuesday (Feb. 6) as the Mahomet-Seymour boys’ basketball rallied to defeat Urbana at home, 61-60, in a non-conference game.
Bohm posted team-high totals of 17 points and 15 points for the Bulldogs, who trailed, 45-40, entering the fourth period.
He also matched Lucas Dyer for the team-lead in assists with three.
Dyer and Landyn Hannah both tallied 12 points. Dyer was 7-for-7 from the free throw line.
Cade Starrick scored seven points and Henry Wagner registered six points to go with three steals and two blocks.
Braden Pagel netted three points. Finishing with two points apiece were Finn Randolph and Miles Woolsey. Randolph also cleared four rebounds.
M-S (11-13) has won all three of its February games to date. The Bulldogs will return to action on Friday (Feb. 9) at Taylorville, an opponent they defeated by 48 points in mid-December.
