Luke Koller scored a game-high 16 points on Wednesday (Feb. 23) and Mahomet-Seymour rallied from a game-long deficit to edge Danville in a Class 3A boys’ basketball regional semifinal game in Mahomet.
M-S knocked down 8-of-10 fourth-quarter shots to complete the comeback.
Dayten Eisenmann chipped in with 12 points and Blake Wolters added 11 points for the Bulldogs.
M-S (16-14) returns to action in the regional championship game on Friday (Feb. 25) at home at 7 p.m. against Lincoln (25-7). The same two schools played seven days earlier – in the same gymnasium – with the visiting Railsplitters garnering a three-point victory.
Danville finishes the season with an 8-18 overall record.
