Senior Ainsley Winters was the medalist for the second consecutive meet on Thursday (Aug. 18), firing a 39 at Normal’s Ironwood Golf Club to lead Mahomet-Seymour to victory in a three-school girls’ golf meet.
The M-S composite was 192. Normal West was second (243), followed by St. Thomas More (255).
Other Bulldogs competitors were Kayla McKinney (49), Chloe Merkle (50), Elena Tompkins (50), Jama Craig (55) and Maddy Clark (57).
M-S (3-0) returns to action on Thursday (Aug. 25) at Tuscola’s Iron Horse Golf Course.
