Mahomet-Seymour girls’ golf captures first win over Blue Ridge

Sophomore Ainsley Winters and junior Gaby Davis were the top two finishers overall on Tuesday as the Bulldogs won their first dual meet of the season, 202-238, over Blue Ridge at Lake of the Woods.

Medalist Winters carded a 46. Davis was the runner-up with a 50.

Other M-S participants were Mady Clark (53), Emma Yates (53), Kayla McKinney (58) and Lanie Shoaf (65).

M-S (1-1 in dual meets) will return to action on Tuesday (Sept. 1) at Lake of the Woods against Monticello.
