Mahomet-Seymour Boys’ Tennis Sweeps Taylorville 9-0, Gears Up for Season Finale

Mahomet-Seymour’s boys’ tennis team didn’t lose a set on Tuesday (April 30) in a 9-0 triumph at Middletown Courts over Taylorville.

In singles, Jack Louis (No. 2) didn’t lose a game against Rian Ebert.

Losing just one game in singles were Bulldogs Keaton Roberts (No. 3), and Quade Bristle (No. 4).

Also winning in straight sets were Jacob Atteberry (No. 1), Gage Decker (No. 5) and Samuel Lunney (No. 6).

In doubles, the No. 1 duo of Louis and Caidan Kogut posted a 6-0, 6-1 decision over Carter Donnan and Brock Daugherty.

Bristle and Decker (No 2) along with Lunney and Elliott Religioso (No. 3) also won in straight sets.

M-S (3-4) returns to action on Monday (May 6) in its home finale against St. Thomas More.
