Mahomet-Seymour Boys’ Soccer Stays Perfect in Conference with 5-1 Win Over Charleston

Mahomet-Seymour’s boys’ soccer team kept its Apollo Conference record unblemished with a 5-1 win at home over Charleston on Thursday (Oct. 3).
The Bulldogs are 5-0 in conference action.
Hayden Litteken, who played the first 10 minutes in goal and kept the Trojans off the board, registered two goals and an assist during his time on the field.
Brody Back and Travis Hoffman each had one goal and one assist.
Also scoring for the Bulldogs was Ian Dobrucki. Noah Crane and Preston Sriver recorded the team’s other assists.
Jamison Griffin secured seven saves.
On Saturday (Oct. 5), the Bulldogs handed Champaign Central a 2-1 loss at Middletown Field.
The goals were made by Kade Smith and Ethan Ramirez. Garnering an assist were Back and Tate Kimball.
M-S (11-5-1) returns to action on Tuesday (Oct. 8) at Mattoon.
